In his extensive career, Stéphane has advised on more than 150 M&A transactions, including many cross-border strategic deals. He has been arguably the leading advisor on French insurance transactions over the last 8 years.
Before teaming up with Gimar & Co in 2020, Stéphane founded and was Head of the Investment Banking team at AEC Partners / AEC Fintech. Prior to beginning his role at AEC Partners in 2012, he acted as Executive Director for Lazard Frères where he was responsible for the middle-market in Paris and Lyon. With his relationship-based approach to business, he has given particular focus to Financial Institutions (FIG) and Fintech transactions.
Stéphane has built a broad network across leading and middle-market corporations, banks, insurance companies, mutual institutions and private equity firms. Stéphane holds an MSc from Arts & Métiers Paris-Tech and an MBA from HEC Paris.
